National Junior Honor Society
For 8th Grade Students – No Fee

The purposes of the NJHS are to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render services, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage citizenship in students of Northstar Middle School. Membership is an honor bestowed upon a student. Selection for membership is by completing the service, leadership & extra curricular requirements. To be eligible for membership the candidate must be enrolled as a member of the Northstar 8th grade class. Candidates must have been in attendance at Northstar for one semester and must have a cumulative scholastic average of at least a 3.75 (on a 4.0 scale) or the equivalent standard of excellence.
